The permanent Secretary, Ministry of Education and Sports has directed that the fees for the forthcoming 2013 UCE and UACE Examinations remain the same as of 2012: a) UCE (i) Registration fee for each candidate, inclusive Entry Form and A5 Form (S.5 Application form) ....................................................................... Shs 80,000/=
(ii) Fee for each private candidate....................................Shs 12,000/=
b) UACE (i) Registration fee for each candidate, inclusive Entry form and Photo Collection Form (PCF).................................................................Shs 80,500/=
(ii) Fee for each private candidate .................................Shs 14,500/=
c) Late entry fee per candidate is 50% of total registration fee.
d) Under-Protest fee per paper ......................................................Shs 50,000/=
e) Transfer fee when authorized......................................................Shs 250,000/=
f) Undeclared private candidate......................................................Shs 50,000/=
Fees inform of Bank drafts, payable to Uganda National Examinations Board, should be presented at the time of registration for all non-USE candidates. No cash payment will be accepted. No entry forms will be accepted if examination fees are not paid at the time of registration. The Board does not accept part payment or deposits.
Heads of Secondary Schools/ Examination Centres are reminded of the following important closing dates for registration:
(i) Deadline for registration of USE and UPOLET candidates is 15th April 2013.
(ii) Normal registration for non-USE and non-UPOLET candidates closes on 30th April, 2013.
(iii) Late registration starts on 1st May 2013 and ends on 31st May 2013. This will attract late entry fee. These dates must strictly be adhered to.
NB: Issuing of UCE and UACE Entry Forms started on 18th March, 2013.
